Fantastic, 3 Semen Gresik Innovation Teams Achieve the Highest Gold Predicate at the ICQCC 2023 China Event
Rembang, November 1st, 2023 – Three innovation teams of PT Semen Gresik won the highest international award with the title of Gold at the International Convention on Quality Control Circle (ICQCC) 2023 with the host in Beijing China on November 30 - 2, 2023. This year's ICQCC titled "Innovation and Vitality, Lighting up the Beauty of Quality" was followed by hundreds of teams from 14 countries. Three of Semen Gresik's best innovation teams, namely from the Rembang Gemilang Team, SIUU, and Sumber Angin 5.0 presented their innovation exposure online to international judges.
Head of the Semen Gresik Management System Unit (SMSG), Nurhadi, expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation to the best innovators of Semen Gresik, by successfully presenting an extraordinary achievement by bringing home the Gold rating.
"A proud achievement, where the three innovations become a competitive advantage in maintaining the sustainability of the company in increasingly fierce market competition," he explained in his release (1/11).
This achievement shows that innovation has been cultivated in every line of the company so that this becomes a company advantage that supports the progress and sustainability of the company.
At the international event, he continued to innovate, show, promote, and exchange experiences in improving quality and productivity individually and in groups.

Meanwhile, the coordinator of the SIUU team, Ilham Dirga Laksono, expressed his pride and gratitude to the company management for giving him the opportunity to represent PT Semen Gresik in the international event.
"Three of Semen Gresik's best innovation teams managed to get the gold predicate. This is an extraordinary achievement, considering the intense competition with participants from abroad.
